Kat is from Washington, DC. She joined CTFD in 2008 as a first year student. When not volunteering at the fire department, she trains and competes with the Kenyon cross country and track teams. She spends what little time remains focusing on her studies as a neuroscience major and classics minor. Summer 2010 Kat attended the Ohio Fire Academy and gained her Firefighter II certification. Fall 2010 she plans to begin the year long paramedic program.
