Ben is from Austin, Texas. He joined the department in 2006 as a Kenyon first year student. He graduated in May 2010 with a degree in international studies and a minor in art. Ben is an accomplished photographer and has traveled widely in South America. May 2010-August 2011 Ben remained in Gambier as a volunteer and also worked full time at a local EMS company. Fall 2011 Ben begins Nurse Practitioner school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
April 2010, Ben received the "Unsung Hero" award at the Kenyon College 2009-2010 Student Leadership Recognition and Awards Ceremony.
